Chart № 09 · The roster
Leaderboard
Server-verified · updated continuously
Every Daily Challenge is re-scored on our servers from your raw pins, so these boards are honest: no client can hand it a made-up number. Ranked by rating, which settles as you play, so turning up for longer is not the same as playing well. Sign in, play the daily, and climb.

Category Challenges
Beyond the daily, premium players get Category Challenges: timed, server-verified runs on a themed slice of the atlas (a country, a continent, the world's rivers), each with its own leaderboard and replayable for your best. See the standings on the challenge board.
How ranking works
Your daily score is distance points (closer is better, on an exponential curve) and a speed bonus that multiplies that accuracy rather than adding to it, so a fast guess in the wrong place is worth nothing. Everything is re-computed server-side from your raw pins, so the board can't be gamed (details in how scoring works).
Your rating is your average score per daily, minus an allowance for how few rounds we have seen from you. The allowance shrinks the more you play, so a rating climbs towards your true average rather than being set by one good day, and a long run of turning up is no advantage in itself. It is deliberately not your raw average: over a single round an average measures luck, and ranking on it would put a first-timer above a regular.
